Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy Bedroom Suite
This year I’ve started getting into the Christmas spirit early. In the past I’ve been a traditionalist – no decorating until after Thanksgiving! However, I have a little girl who loves the decorations even more than I do. So, after years of her asking, I decided this year I’d decorate her bedroom for the first time. And hey – it’s on the second floor so *technically* I’m still in the clear, right?

I decided to go with a Sugar Plum Fairy theme: all candies , sparkles and pastels. While she was at school I went to work, adding “snow” to her dresser with a piece of costume fur. My upcycled Christmas House Night Lights look perfect here!
She now has her very own tree, with lollipop and gumdrop ornaments, and a jeweled tree topper.
She’s always wanted her own stocking for her bedroom, and I looked everywhere for just the right one. When I saw this cute stocking with fur AND jingle bells, I knew it was the one.
Of course, I had to decorate the dollhouse, too. I always loved decorating my own dollhouse for Christmas, and I’m happy to pass on the tradition.
What do you think of our Christmas Chic Girl’s Bedroom? Do you decorate the kids’ rooms for Christmas?
A big thanks to GiftsForYouNow for our favorite stocking, and for sponsoring my Christmas Chic Girl’s Bedroom post!
