Amazing beauty Products that Knock My Socks Off

For a long time I’ve been meaning to revive a series I started when the blog was very young – a roundup of products I’m loving lately. Today, I’m bringing it back by sharing some amazing beauty products that knock my socks off.

Foot Peel Mask 

I’ve posted about my love for this product on Instagram before, but it’s worth mentioning again. This foot mask is ah-mazing! Just wear the booties for an hour, and over the next two weeks you’ll experience a true metamorphosis – bringing your feet to the kind of softness you haven’t had since you were a kid.

Now, I’m not a beauty blogger, so I’m not one to tout every little product that comes around. But I’m not exaggerating to say this product is far better than any pedicure I’ve ever had – at a fraction of the price! Just $10 for one treatment.

A little disclaimer: this product WILL make you shed the tough, calloused skin on your feet, so you’ll want to use this two weeks before any special events where you want to show off your feet.

Luster Whitening Toothpaste

Some girlfriends recommended this product to me last year, and it’s the ONLY whitening toothpaste I’ve ever tried that truly showed results after the first use. No joke! I used to spend a lot of money on whitening strips, only to have results fade within weeks. This toothpaste has the same results, just by brushing your teeth. This stuff is the real deal!

 

Facil Wax Strips

Okay, NOT that any lady would need anything like this, but if you were in the market for a product that is super easy and requires no microwaving, you’ll want to give this a try. Just keep it in your bathroom and it’s ready to use, any time. It’s great to take along for traveling, too! Even better, it’s all natural, so you don’t have to worry about exposing your skin to chemicals and irritants.

Dr. Lipp Nipple Balm

Don’t let the name dissuade you – this miracle balm is all I use in the winter. Here in the Midwest, our lips suffer in the cold, dry winters. This balm works on the driest cracked winter lips and I use it on my whole family. It’s also great for the healing the dry skin around the lips, as well.

At Home Microdermabrasion 

I’d love to have the time or budget for regular facials and microdermabrasion, but that’s just not the case. This product comes in a close second place to a professional exfoliation treatment. Just use every few days, and leave on the skin an extra few minutes for a wonderful mini facial at home.

Lash Growth Serum

Okay, this product is admittedly pricey, but it totally works. My lashes have been slowly disappearing over the years, and this serum is the real deal. Just apply it regularly before bed, and you’ll notice your lashes lengthening within a few weeks.

Face Oil

As I mentioned earlier, Midwest winters are hard on skin. Lately I’ve been a huge fan of facial oils, especially mixed with my regular facial lotion. I’m currently using and loving this Must Dew face oil. It smells heavenly, and is a fraction of the price of oils I’ve tried in the past. I’ve also been meaning to try this inexpensive Face Oil.

In-Shower Moisturizer

Two more products I absolutely love for dry skin are the Lush Buffy and Scrubee. It may sound a little strange, but I hate applying body lotion and therefore rarely do.. These products are fabulous because they exfoliate and moisturize right in the shower.

Vitamins

I’ve never felt that I could feel a noticeable difference in my skin and body from vitamins, but I’ve always made an effort to take them, nonetheless. However, that changed when recently a friend recommended these vitamins to me. I love them because they contain probiotics and magnesium, which I’d been taking in addition to my vitamins in the past. I totally notice a difference when I take these vitamins!
