Marshmallow Birthday Ice Cream Recipe

It’s been awhile since I shared some recipes, and this week will be filled with them! Today’s recipe is inspired by the upcoming month. We have a lot of family birthdays in July, and in this household, Both Eve and I have our special day.

Lately we’ve been on a kick of making our own ice cream concoctions at home, so we decided to come up with a special birthday treat.

If you ask my daughter what her favorite flavor of ice cream is – she’ll vote for Marshmallow, every

time. The trouble is, I haven’t been able to find a simple way of making our own.

So many recipes call for the actual toasting of marshmallows, then melting them in a saucepan. No thanks.

So, I was really excited when I found this new COFFEE-MATE® Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Coffee Creamer. I knew this would be the perfect way to finally make my daughter’s favorite flavor of ice cream…not to mention a great  iced coffee.

More specifically, we decided to make milkshakes: a Marshmallow Vanilla Birthday Milk Shake.

We just used four cups of vanilla ice cream, 1/2 C. Milk and 1/2 C. COFFEE-MATE® Toasted Marshmallow Mocha Coffee Creamer.

Then, we added a little instant gratification with extra dollop of Reddi-wip.

Don’t forget the sprinkles.

I decided it would be fun to rim the glass with some pink melting chocolate and mini-marshmallows. Or, you could just use light corn syrup and rim your glass with more sprinkles.

I topped it all off with a cake ball. Why not?
