I can hardly believe I’m writing this post – but, believe it or not, school is almost back in session. HOW did the summer fly by so fast?? The more relaxed morning routine of summer will soon give way to the chaos of the school year, so today I’m sharing a Morning Routine Chart designed to make life a little easier.

Despite my best efforts, my baby girl is actually more of a big girl now and will be entering Kindergarten (excuse me while I run off to sob for a moment…). She’s always been the one lounging around in pajamas while the big kids ran around in the mornings, and I know it will be a big adjustment for her!
So, lately we’ve been practicing our morning routine to get her prepared.
Several years ago, I shared a printable magnetic chore chart that still continues to get a lot of love here on the blog. However, we now live in a different home and that particular system was no longer ideal – we no longer have a magnetic fridge, and I wanted something she could access upstairs.
I decided to create a printable that could be laminated and affixed to her bathroom mirror and wall. She has a dry erase marker and can check off each task as she goes about her morning routine.
Get dressed….brush teeth and hair…
Eat breakfast…pack lunch…
Our local Walmart just launched its Online Grocery Pickup service which is a game. changer. Where was this during the baby years? I love how quick and easy it is.
I picked up some snacks to hopefully ease the back to school transition. Danimals smoothies and pouches are nutritious snacks that mom can feel good about feeding her kids. The kids love the way they taste – and I love that they are a nutritious snack and a good source Calcium and Vitamin D.
I plan to pack Dannon® Danimals® Squeezables Strawberry Explosion Lowfat Yogurt in their lunches. I love freezing the pouches so they are still cool by lunchtime.
I also got Dannon® Danimals® Strawberry Explosion and Wild Watermelon Flavor Smoothies because I thought they’d be great for a quick breakfast…
…even if it’s on-the-go.
